Charting third and ranking in the top five for the second straight week was the Czech drama Broken Voices (Sbormistr). After premiering at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in July, the film was one of three recommended for Czechia’s submission to the 2026 Academy Awards; it was ultimately not chosen by voters after some controversy surrounding its depiction of real-life events.

Charting fourth this week in its streaming debut on SkyShowtime was Novocaine, starring Jack Quaid and Amber Midthunder. The action-packed romantic thriller about a man who can’t feel pain released in cinemas earlier this year.

In a light week for new releases, two Oscar-winning classics surged into the top 10: The Silence of the Lambs, which charted fourth for Prime Video, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, which came in seventh and is streaming in Czechia on Netflix, HBO Max, and OnePlay.
