Keira Knightley Film Wraps Shooting in Prague

The Aftermath, the first of many international productions set to shoot in Prague this year, has wrapped filming in the Czech Republic, according to local production company Sirena Film.

In the post-WWII thriller, Jason Clarke and Keira Knightley (again teaming as husband and wife following 2015’s Everest) star as a British colonel and his spouse living in Hamburg alongside a German widower, Tarzan’s Alexander Skarsgård.

While the colonel attempts to help rebuild the city, devastated by war, tensions arise in the new living situation.

The plot description bears some notable similarities to the Czech classic Adelheid.

Filming took place in Prague during January before moving to other locations throughout the Czech Republic the following month.

The barren streets of Předlice, in the Ústí nad Labem region, also filled in for locations in war-torn 1940s Hamburg.

Pics from the Prague set were published last month on The Daily Mail.
