All August Long, Catch a Movie for 40 CZK at Prague’s Kino Aero

Want to catch up on some of the best films to hit Prague cinemas over the past year, and save a bundle in the process?

Like the recent Best Film Fest earlier in July, which brought some of 2018’s top hits to Prague’s Kino Lucerna, Kino Atlas, and other cinemas for the low-low price of 69 CZK, Kino Aero’s Prague Film Summer gives visitors the chance to see some of the best films from the past year on the cheap.

Prague Film Summer at Kino Aero lasts all August long, with a price point that nearly halves the Best Film Fest: a mere 40 CZK per film, less than a third of what you’d normally pay at Kino Aero and a fifth of the cost of a ticket at a Prague multiplex. It’s also less than the price of a cappuccino at the average Prague cafe.

Screening at Kino Aero during Prague Film Summer are some of 2017’s Oscar-winning (and nominated) hits like The Shape of Water (pictured above), Phantom Thread, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Sci-fi blockbusters like Blade Runner 2049, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Solo: A Star Wars Story will also screen during Prague Film Summer for the deep-discount price.

And you can catch up on two of the best Czech films from the past year: Jan Svěrák’s underrated Barefoot and the excellent nature documentary Wilder Than Wilderness. Both will screen with English subtitles.
