Spider-Man: Brand New Day remained the clear leader at the Czech box office over the Aug. 13-16 weekend, while The Odyssey continued its unusually strong run.

The latest Marvel adventure starring Tom Holland grossed an enormous CZK 43.81 million over the weekend, with an additional CZK 11.61 million from Wednesday preview screenings.

The Odyssey now has the top two highest-grossing weekends of 2026 at the Czech box office, with both of its first two weeks surpassing The Devil Wears Prada 2.

The Gothic romance starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as ill-fated lovers Cathy and Heathcliff earned CZK 4.61 million to bring its two-week total to just north of CZK 13 million.
