Uma Thurman on Prague: “The Most Beautiful City”

Last week, Uma Thurman opened the 52nd edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, culminating with an outdoor cinema screening of the Tarantino classic Kill Bill (Volumes I & II) on Sunday that was attended by thousands.

Now, the Hollywood star is doing the tourist in Prague. And she seems to be pretty impressed with the Czech capital, going by posts on social media.

On Facebook, Thurman describes Prague as “the most beautiful city” as she posted a pair of photos of herself sailing the Vltava beneath Charles Bridge:

Despite having a validated Facebook account for over two years with 200,000 fans, the Prague pics appear to be the actress’s first Facebook post.

Uma is more active on Instagram, where she’s featured a pic of herself in angel wings, courtesy of Prague’s famed Lennon Wall:

And here she is receiving the Festival President’s Award in Karlovy Vary a few days ago:

While Uma is in Prague, there are still a few days left to catch the tail end of the Karlovy Vary festival.

Avengers star Jeremy Renner will be on hand to close the festival, where he will present his latest film, Wind River, and also receive the Festival President’s Award during the closing ceremony on July 8.
