The WWI film, which was filmed in and around Prague in 2021, won Oscars for International Film, Sound, Cinematography, and Production Design.
The German-language WWI drama won a total of seven BAFTA awards including Best Picture and Best Director.
The Netflix adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque’s classic might be a favorite to win Best Picture at the 2023 Academy Awards.
The German-language Netflix production, which shot in the Czech Republic in the spring of 2021, has scored 14 BAFTA nominations.
