Agnieszka Holland’s Franz Kafka biopic has earned additional European Film Award nods, recognizing Czech talent in costume and makeup design.
Idan Weiss is nominated for best actor at the European Film Awards for his role as Franz Kafka in Franz, competing against leading European stars.
The Czech movie will compete among 15 movies including The Substance and Emilia Pérez for the title of Best European Film at this year’s awards on Dec. 7.
