Prague’s CineStar to Screen Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere

Prague’s CineStar to Screen Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere

The long-awaited seventh season of HBO’s hit TV show Game of Thrones will premiere on July 16 in the USA, and locally in the Czech Republic July 17 at 20:00 on HBO and HBO GO.

But if you’re in Prague, you can also catch the latest season premiere up on the big screen.

CineStar, a multiplex with two locations in Prague and one in Ostrava, has announced that they will be screening the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere on Monday.

Starting at 20:00, the cinema will give viewers a refresher on the saga of Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Cersei Lannister, and others with a full screening of the season six finale.

Afterwards, CineStar will immediately screen the season seven premiere for a feature-length, 134-minute Game of Thrones experience on the big screen.

Admission is free; viewers just need to pick up tickets to the event directly from the CineStar box office. Update: According to CineStar’s Facebook event page, tickets to the Prague screenings have sold out while Ostrava is quickly following suit.

The summer release date for this season of Game of Thrones isn’t the only difference from previous installments in the series.

While seasons one through six of the series each consisted of 10 episodes, season 7 will only have 7, concluding on August 27.
